The young man is from London, England (originally from Huddersfield) makes music that he simply calls ?Wyred Folk?: a hybrid of electronically produced folk combined with instrumental Hip Hop.
His song featured in the compilation is a remix of a track by Comus called 'The Herald', in 2 parts. This track came about through a chance myspace message to Comus. He was at the time really into their album 'First Utterence' and so he asked them if they would be interested in him re-mixing their track 'The Herald'. A few days later they replied saying that they didn't have the original masters but that he should feel free to take what he could from the track. He didn't needed asking twice.
